Registered Clinical Counsellor | Founder, NKS Therapy
Natasha K. Sharma, Psy.D, RCC
If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted, you’re not broken, you’re human. And you don’t have to figure it out alone. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor in Ontario and the founder of NKS Therapy, I work with adults, teens, couples, and Executives who are navigating anxiety, stress, depression, anger, relationship challenges, parenting struggles, divorce, and major life or career transitions. Many of my clients are high-functioning, capable people who look “fine” on the outside, but feel anything but on the inside.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and deeply practical. I don’t believe in therapy that feels cold, clinical, or performative. Real change starts with real connection, and with understanding how you actually function in your life and relationships, not how you think you’re supposed to.
Because how we relate to ourselves and to others shapes how well we live, my work focuses on emotional regulation, communication patterns, relational dynamics, boundaries, self-awareness, and resilience. Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you feel steadier, clearer, and more confident in how you show up at home, at work, and in your relationships.
I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, while taking a strong interpersonal and relational lens that feels natural, supportive, and human. Not scripted or rigid.
In addition to my clinical work, I’m a TEDx speaker, professor, writer, media expert and award-winning entrepreneur. I’ve spent years studying and teaching how people function under pressure: Within families, workplaces, and high-stress environments, and how emotional fitness impacts decision-making, relationships, and our overall well-being. I’m also deeply passionate about preventative mental healthcare that people can actually use in real life.

Outside the therapy room, I love reading, music, singing, fitness, and teaching Goju-Ryu Karate to elementary school kids across Toronto; including my two sons, who remain unimpressed by my black belt and believe my greatest talent is locating the TV remote.
